On Jan. 27, Halsey opened up to fans and social media followers alike by announcing her pregnancy with a beautiful photoshoot that showed off her growing stomach. More than 7 million people liked the three-picture post captioned “surprise! 🍼🌈👼🏻” where the singer popped off in a rainbow knit top and loose fitted jeans. Other stars appeared in the comments singing her praise such as James Charles, Addison Rae, Lauren Jauregui, and Kelsea Ballerini.
Who is Alev Aydin?
Boyfriend Alev Aydin, @zoneaydin, commented “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness ❤️❤️.” If this is your first time hearing about the 37-year-old screenwriter, creeping on his page will only get you so far, unfortunately, since his feed is primarily decorated with faux polaroids. According to Elle, Halsey and Aydin first connected in October 2020 where he was only labeled “a pal” by the Daily Mail.
A quiet relationship until now, both celebrities follow each other on social media which allows fans a sneak peek into their lives and hearts. In addition to Halsey’s Insta post, she moved onto Twitter where she simply posted “my rainbow🌈” about both the shoot and pregnancy, Aydin quickly retweeted it onto his feed.

Halsey’s pregnancy and fight with endometriosis
This quick, three-minute interview looks into Halsey’s diagnosis after suffering from the chronic illness all her life. She describes the diagnosis as “bittersweet” due to the realization that her pain was real and she wasn’t just being “sensitive.”
Since endometriosis can cause some women to have difficulty getting pregnant, the singer has endured multiple miscarriages. However, her “rainbow baby” gives cause for celebration after years of the superstar looking forward to motherhood.
