Ariana Grande released a teaser trailer for “34+35 Remix” on Twitter this morning that features a silhouette of three women, one being Ariana herself and the other two being mysteries, which sent fans into a frenzy on social media as they started theorizing who will be featured. The song will be released tomorrow, on 1/14, but in the meantime, fans are going crazy posting their guesses on Twitter. So far, the leading theory is either Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion or Chloe x Halle. We’ve compiled what we know about each fan theory so far.
Doja Cat’s IG live basically gives it away
As many fans are pointing out in the comments on Ariana’s latest Twitter post, Doja Cat had an IG Live hinting at her collaboration on the remix. Doja Cat, while laying down comfortably in a blanket, started rapping about what many fans interpret to be her verse on the remix. Doja’s freestyle features the lyrics: “Add up the numbers, or get behind that, listen rewind that,” and “Listen you’ll find that I want that 69 without Tekashi.” At the end of her freestyle, she starts singing the main verse of 34+35. If this live was any sort of a hint, Doja Cat basically gave her involvement, if not her entire verse, away. Although many are convinced Doja Cat is one of the collaborators, one question remains: Who will be singing alongside Doja and Ariana?
Megan Thee Stallion’s IG comment
Megan Thee Stallion commented “👀👀👀” on Ariana’s IG post announcing the remix, and many are convinced that this confirms her involvement. Although it can’t be confirmed until tomorrow, many are believing, and hoping, that this is the case. This has significantly less evidence than Doja Cat’s IG live, but this theory has significant popularity on Twitter. Although, there are some battles about whether it should be Megan The Stallion or Nicki Minaj. There isn’t really much to support Nicki Minaj as being on the remix other than the fact that she’s worked with Ariana before. There are also some believing that it could be the popular duo Chloe x Halle.

Chloe x Halle is another popular theory
This theory is based on the fact that Ariana, Chloe, and Halle’s ages all add up to 69. Other fans are pointing out that the outlines look like Chloe x Halle, hoping that this proves their involvement. These theories have gained a large amount of attention from fans on Twitter and if one follows this logic, they almost have a case as strong as Doja Cat. Although no one will know which theory is correct until tomorrow, the food for thought will keep fans busy while they wait for the release. What we do know for sure is that Ariana’s “34+35” debuted at number eight on BillBoard’s Hot 100 when it was released, and the remix promises to follow this pattern of popularity.
