3. The Sinner: Season 3
The Sinner is a slow burn mystery series with absolutely insane plot twists, which season three promises to deliver. The first and second season found widespread critical acclaim for their shocking, dark narratives. This season, featuring Matt Bomer, focuses on the incident of a car crash. Detective Harry Ambrose has a feeling there’s something else going on, and decides to dive deeper into the case, revealing an unsettling depth to it all. The first episode of this season will air on Feb. 6.
4. Malcolm and Marie
Featuring John David Washington and Zendaya, Malcolm and Marie offers an intimate view on the complexities of love and relationships. The trailer reads “This is not a love story, this is the story of love,” hinting that this will explore the darker and more complicated side of love, which offers a stark juxtaposition to the idealized images of romance we will see around Valentine’s Day. This movie also appears to be Zendaya’s run at the Oscars, and if you are a Euphoria fan, you’ll love her in this. The film is set to be released on Feb. 5.
